HONG KONG, Feb 15 (LifeSiteNews) – Researchers and medical experts in Hong Kong attempted to downplay the findings of their own study when it confirmed a link between abortion and increased rates of breast cancer. The study conducted in Queen Mary Hospital over the past three years surveyed 142 women between 31 and 50 who had breast ailments. Of the 54 that were found to have breast cancer, 20% had procured an abortion in the past. Only 10% of the remaining 88 healthy women had previously undergone an abortion.
Prior to the current study, twenty-six out of thirty-two published studies worldwide and twelve out of thirteen studies in the United States support the claim that induced abortion increases the risk of breast cancer
