Cardinal Egan Calls Proposed Law An “Unprecedented Attack”

NEW YORK, Aug 22, 2001 ( – A proposed law which would bar anyone from getting within 10 feet of a woman heading into an abortion mill and punish violators with up to six months in jail is headed for a vote “in the coming weeks” according to New York City Council Speaker Peter Vallone.
