ST JOHN’S, Jan 23 (LSN) – Newfoundland’s Evening Telegram reported today that the province is now fully paying fees at the Morgentaler abortuary. The Newfoundland government under Brian Tobin, which recently deprived Christian Newfoundlanders of their constitutionally guaranteed right to Christian education, has decided to pay for abortion on demand at the abortion mill. Formerly, the province would pay only about one fifth of the cost, leaving mothers an incentive to keep the baby and the up to $500 “facility fee” for the abortuary’s macabre services. Former federal health minister Dianne Marleau ensured that provinces would pay for abortions, or else lose the amount they withheld by having it deducted from the federal health transfer payments. Newfoundland decided then to accept the federal penalty, thus ensuring that mothers who wished to kill their babies would be forced to think twice about the procedure, at least for the sake of the money.
