BISMARCK, March 28, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) – North Dakota’s state senate voted unanimously, 46 to 0, to ban cloning for both human reproduction purposes and so-called “therapeutic”research.
Sen. Dick Dever, Republican of Bismarck, drew a distinction between positive medical advancements that are in keeping with sound ethics and research which is not ethical. He said it is the responsibility of lawmakers to put restrictions on the latter.
