NOVA SCOTIA, Aug. 5 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Show the Truth is having an impact in Atlantic Canada. An article in today’s Daily News is entitled “Anti-abortion signs disgust motorists,” and talks about the pro-life group’s peaceful roadside demonstration during afternoon rush hour traffic in Halifax. “Table-top sized photos of aborted fetuses on a busy Halifax street seems to be generating more anger than sympathy for anti-abortion activists,” said the article. “Others with small children were seen trying to protect them from the images.”
Show the Truth organizers have come to expect such responses, but they like to talk about the people who come up to them thanking them for showing them what abortion really is; for so authoritatively exposing the pro-abortion myths that an unborn baby isn’t a human being. Defending their strategy, Show the Truth supporters point to the public display of photographs of the Nazi holocaust as instrumental in shifting public opinion over that issue. Show the Truth continues to tour Nova Scotia until Monday, then is planning to swing back into New Brunswick briefly before concluding their tour in PEI, Canada’s only “pro-life province”.
