TALLAHASSEE, Florida, April 5, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) — The Obama Administration is again threatening states, this time states which have passed laws rerouting tax dollars away from Planned Parenthood to other health providers.

Most recently, the administration has had Florida in its sights. Marissa Padilla, spokeswoman for the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services,  told the News Service of Florida that she had contacted Gov. Rick Scott's administration, “reminding them of the state’s obligation to ensure Medicaid beneficiaries continue to have access to services provided by any willing provider.”

After Planned Parenthood was exposed by the Center for Medical Progress as trafficking in baby parts –and illegally modifying abortion procedures so as to procure “intact” and “live” babies to sell their brains and other organs for profit (one Planned Parenthood official joked that she wanted to buy a Lamborghini with sales from baby parts), several state legislators chose to divert tax funds from the nation's biggest abortion business to other healthcare centers.

Last month, Florida legislators passed and Gov. Scott signed into law a bill defunding Planned Parenthood of tax money, tightening health regulations, and punishing the sale of aborted babies' limbs and tissue.

President Barack Obama is aggressively fighting this defunding trend, pressuring states to fund Planned Parenthood.  Obama has been called the most pro-abortion leader in America’s history because of his consistent record of extreme abortion support and promotion, even going so far as to vigorously defend infanticide for living babies who survived an abortion attempt as a junior state senator in Illinois.

The Obama Administration also pressured Texas, Kansas, North Carolina, Alabama, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Utah, Louisiana, Ohio, New Hampshire, Wisconsin and any state that considers defunding the abortion giant, threatening them with prosecution.

The Obama Administration has also pressured states to give in to a transgender agenda, allowing schoolboys to use girls’ toilets, locker rooms, showers and changing areas.

The new Florida law defines the first trimester as the 11 weeks following fertilization, ending a dispute the Attorney General had with three Florida abortuaries.

The federal government under Obama's direction even went so far as to use tax dollars to replace funds for Planned Parenthood voted down by state legislatures in Texas, Tennessee and New Hampshire.
