January 21, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The Obama Administration has posted its plans to implement the most radical homosexualist policy agenda in the nation’s history on the White House’s official website (https://www.whitehouse.gov/agenda/civil_rights).

Many otherwise conservative American voters have also suggested that Obama’s goal of finding “common ground” and “reaching across the aisle” would ensure that he would not be as anti-family or anti-life as many pro-life and pro-family activists were saying he would be. Now that Obama is elected, however, it has been made abundantly clear that he intends on pursuing a radical social agenda the likes of which the United States has never before seen.

As soon as Obama took the oath of office yesterday, the White House website was updated (www.whitehouse.gov). An extensive detailing of Obama’s agenda for his presidency was uploaded, which included a lengthy section on “support for the LGBT community” and another on “reproductive choice.”

Under the section on reproductive choice, the website explains that Obama “understands” that abortion is “divisive,” and that he “respects those who disagree with” him, but then goes on to explain that “he has been a consistent champion of reproductive choice and will make preserving women’s rights under Roe v. Wade a priority in his Adminstration [sic]. He opposes any constitutional amendment to overturn the Supreme Court’s decision in that case.”

Under the category of “women” the site also says that Obama intends on supporting embryonic stem cell research: “Obama is a co-sponsor of the Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act of 2007, which will allow research of human embryonic stem cells derived from embryos donated (with consent) from in vitro fertilization clinics.

Under “civil right” the website explains that Obama intends on expanding hate crime statutes to include special protections for “sexual orientation” and “gender identity.” Furthermore, he plans on supporting “full civil unions and federal rights for LGBT couples.”

Of especial concern to pro-family advocates is his stated plan to work to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). DOMA is a law passed in 1996 that states that the Federal Government may not treat same-sex relationships as marriages for any purpose, even if concluded or recognized by one of the states.

Furthermore, Obama will oppose a constitutional ban on same-sex “marriage,” will repeal the “Don’t Ask-Don’t Tell” policy that prevents open homosexuals from serving in the military, and will work to extend adoption right to homosexuals.

“President Obama believes that we must ensure adoption rights for all couples and individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation,” explains the website. “He thinks that a child will benefit from a healthy and loving home, whether the parents are gay or not.”

Rep. Chris Smith, in an interview with LifeSiteNews.com yesterday, said of the Obama presidency, “Regrettably, even though some had hoped [Obama] wouldn’t do this (I think the realists realized it) he’s a 100% abortion individual.

“And we can hope and we can pray for some change or some mitigation, but this is not change we can believe in, and most Americans I think are going to be shocked as his presidency unfolds at just how extreme his positions are.”
