HYATTSVILLE, Maryland, July 25, 2002 (LSN.ca) – One in three marriages will end in divorce within 10 years. But certain couples with certain values are more likely to divorce than others.  The National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) survey of nearly 11,000 women ages 15 to 44 found that people who marry young, have less money, are not religious, and whose parents are divorced, are most likely to divorce themselves.  The study found that people who don’t believe in living together before marriage are also the least likely to get a divorce later. “If you have a couple thinking about getting together, they don’t believe it’s right to cohabit. These are also the kind of people not likely to divorce,” says lead author Dr. Matthew D. Bramlett of NCHS in Hyattsville, Maryland.  To read the ABC News report see:  https://abcnews.go.com/wire/Living/ap20020724_1270.html
