OTTAWA, April 10, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) – There are only 34 days remaining until the National March for Life in Ottawa. Organizers are asking pro-life Canadians to make plans NOW to attend this important, national event.

Pro-life Members of Parliament are said to always receive a deeply appreciated boost from the visible presence of the marchers on the Hill. The March events provide them with special, if not essential encouragement to persevere in their difficult battles, such as those on Bill C-13 and other life and family issues currently before the House.

Organizers emphasize that Parliament, the Senate and all Canadians must not be allowed to ignore the devastation that the passage that the May 14, 1969 Omnibus Bill has brought to our nation.

International Right to Life President Dr. Jack Willke will be the keynote speaker at the Wednesday night March for Life banquet.

See details on transportation, hotels and the March events agenda at https://www.lifesitenews.com/events/Marchforlife/2003/index.html   Those who cannot attend are encouraged to make candle pledges to help those who require assistance to attend the events and to help cover the signifanct March expenses.  https://www.lifesitenews.com/events/Marchforlife/2003/pledgeformtoronto.pdf   The percentage of youth at the March has been increasing each year, with youth now making up a large percentage of the crowd. Special, very reasonably priced accommodations on the University of Ottawa campus and a well-organized youth conference on the day before the March are available for all youth coming to the event. Registration is required.  See https://www.lifesitenews.com/events/Marchforlife/2003/index.html
