TORONTO, Feb 23, 2001 (LSN.ca) – Ontario Liberal Leader Dalton McGuinty endorsed homosexual marriage in a Feb 14 radio interview. The Feb. 22 edition of the homosexual newspaper Xtra!, quotes McGuinty saying: “Ontarians have evolved in connection with this matter, and I think it’s important for government policy to evolve as well: We have changed; we’re under a new leadership, and I think that it’s a matter of fairness and equity.”
