TORONTO, May 7, 2003 ( – Ontario’s governing Conservatives are expected to unveil their campaign platform within a week sources have told the National Post, setting the stage for a possible June 26 provincial election.  Jim Flaherty, author of the Equity in Education Tax Credit, which Eves recently restored, has rallied to his leader. “They’ll run a deficit and they’ll increase taxes,” Flaherty said of the Liberals.  Premier Ernie Eves predicts that the Liberals will squander their 19-point lead over the Tories in polls.
