HALIFAX, July 22, 2002 (LSN.ca) – Marc Hall, the Ontario teenager whose Oshawa Catholic high school board was denied the right to uphold Catholic teaching about sexuality in a Catholic school, has been named Grand Marshall for Halifax’s gay pride parade.  “I was jumping up in my room,” the boy said. “I mean … it’s pretty overwhelming… I’m not trying to be conceited or anything, but a lot of people see me as an idol, or a role model,” said Hall, who told reporters he is often contacted by other “homosexual” teens looking for advice on how to come out of the closet. Last month, he joined the “equal-marriage” float in Toronto’s large homosexual parade.  Homosexual activists are also exploiting the youth as grand marshal in parades in Vancouver, Sarnia and Windsor. The exploitation of Hall is a reminder that homosexual rights campaigns emphasize pubicity, denigrating religious freedom, and shaking the institutions that underpin civilized society.  To read CP coverage see:  https://www.canada.com/search/site/story.asp?id=7A32CCF6-F14D-412E-BB52-A7DF24A28DAB
