MEXICO CITY, Dec 21, 2000 (LSN.ca) – Outspoken pro-life Bishop Luis Reynoso Cervantes of Cuernavaca Mexico died Tuesday during back surgery. He was 74 years old. AP reports that “As the legal adviser to the Mexican bishops’ council, he called Mexico City’s former Mayor Rosario Robles ‘a murderer and a coward’ for proposing a law allowing abortion in cases of rape.”
