TORONTO, Dec 9 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A pro-homosexual Toronto School Board (TSB) policy that aims to eliminate “homophobia” was presented at the TSB meeting last night and was met with vocal protests from parents and Muslim leaders.

The Muslim leaders and parents had attended the meeting in order to protest the introduction of the policy which, as LifeSite reported last month, includes an absolute ban on “homophobic behaviour.”

Pro-family observers note the ban amounts to the forcing of a pro-homosexual view on students while any expression of dissenting opinions such as those shared by most traditional religious beliefs would be discriminated against.

Idrahin El-Sayed, president of the Toronto District Muslim Education Assembly said at the meeting yesterday that homosexual acts are “not normal” and “we don’t want it pushed on our kids and we won’t stand for it to be in our schools.”

The Canada Family Action Coalition (CFAC) told LifeSite that the homosexualist activist group EGALE has urged its supporters to email TSB trustees to urge them to pass the policy.

CFAC suggests that pro-family supporters email the trustees voicing their concerns over the policy.
