(LifeSiteNews) — A whistleblower employed by vaccine maker Pfizer has been fired after she leaked emails by company executives discussing how to best hide information from the public regarding the use of fetal cell lines derived from aborted babies in the development of the COVID vaccine.
A new video released by Project Veritas on Saturday featured an audio recording of a message that was left on Melissa Strickler’s voicemail, informing her of her termination. Strickler is the whistleblower who recently exposed Pfizer’s policy of withholding information from the public on the use of fetal cell lines in creating the vaccine. The message was left by K.J. Wigglesworth from the corporate office of Pfizer in New York City who spoke on behalf of Ian MacKellar, VP and site leader at the McPherson plant where Strickler was employed.
Wigglesworth said, “We’ve been advised to let you know that you are not under any circumstances to return to work. Your termination is being processed at the current time. If you have any questions, contact Mr. MacKellar at the McPherson plant, and I’m sure that he will explain the reasons why.”
In the video exposing her company, Strickler was asked by Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe, if she was worried about the potential consequences of her decision to talk with him.
“I don’t know if anyone’s ever done this before,” said O’Keefe. “I don’t see much investigative reporting in the big pharma, certainly not emails from executives.”
The founder of Project Veritas asked Strickler if she was afraid of “blowing the whistle at Pfizer” as she was still a current employee at Pfizer at the time, to which Strickler replied that she was “a little anxious and nervous at what they may think or do.”
Strickler mentioned several times in the video that what she found out about her own company shocked her so much that she had to take a “mental leave of absence.”
“I was genuinely traumatized and sickened from the things I saw, and I needed to leave, but I didn’t want to quit because I didn’t know what to do, so I just took a leave of absence [in order to] gather my thoughts and heal from this information,” she said.
O’Keefe called her action an “extraordinary act” and argued that, while Strickler initially decided to take a leave of absence, publishing emails from the company’s Vice President was “another step entirely.”
“Are you afraid of doing this?” he asked.
“A little bit, but I have faith that I’ll be protected or whatever the outcome is, is what it’s supposed to be,” replied Strickler. “I’m at peace with it.”
Throughout her conversation with O’Keefe, Strickler insisted that her actions were not politically motivated.
She told Project Veritas that her motives were to make sure people are aware of these issues before making the decision to get vaccinated or not.
“This is [about] informed consent on injecting something inside of you from a company that has ‘called it an experimental vaccine.’”
Another motive cited by Strickler was Pfizer’s recent attempt to obtain FDA approval for vaccination on children, which she said contributed to her decision to expose the cover up.
“It needs to be seen by the people because they’re trying to give this to kids, and if they’re being this deceptive about it, I don’t feel comfortable being silent while they’re trying to give it to babies who can’t talk.”
The Pfizer whistleblower also said she’s not an anti-vaxxer and that she is passionate about her job.
“I work at a pharmaceutical company, I’m not an anti-vaxxer. I believe in research and science,” she said, adding that she has worked at Pfizer for ten years. “I’ve been trained there … I know the process, I love my job.”
When asked by O’Keefe what she thought the reactions to the leaked emails would be, Strickler replied, “I pray that it unites us … that we can [ask ourselves] ‘why do they think they can make us take something when they’re not even honest about what they’re doing or what’s in it?’”
Strickler concluded the video by directly addressing Pfizer: “You guys are very adamant about integrity and making sure that things are done right, and that things are always double-checked. But I’m just one person, one face of many of your employees who are willing to fight this, and reveal to the world what’s going on, and all we want is for you to be transparent and honest with us and do the right thing.”
Two days later, Pfizer fired her.
