January 5, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) – The newly sworn-in 115th Congress marks entrance into "the most dangerous moment in Planned Parenthood's history," its president told supporters in a Tuesday email.

"They're ready to shut down Planned Parenthood health centers. This is the fight of our lives," blared text at the top of the email sent out from Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America and Planned Parenthood Action Fund.

Apparently missing the irony that innocent babies face the "fight of their lives" at Planned Parenthoods, the abortion giant explained that pro-life House and Senate majorities combined with President-elect Trump's promise to help defund Planned Parenthood mean their coffers are in deep trouble.

"Without the promise of a presidential veto, there's only one thing that can stop this destructive agenda: Us. You, me, and millions of Planned Parenthood supporters locked arm in arm," Richards wrote. The "battle is here — and I'm ready to fight like hell."

Abortion advocates have been panicking since their many political losses in November, urging each other to get free or cheap IUDs that will "outlast Trump."
