CHARLOTTE, North Carolina, November 2, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) – Planned Parenthood deleted deceptive job ads after a local media investigation found that “Community Outreach Group” was an entity of Planned Parenthood posing as an anti-toll campaign to recruit workers.

Community Outreach Group is “governed by the leaders of Planned Parenthood Action Fund,” WBTV reported, even though its recruiting ads portrayed it as a group organizing against tolls in Charlotte.

“Instead of tolls, the Community Outreach Group office was filled with signs and literature for Democratic candidate like Roy Cooper and candidate for North Carolina House of Representative Chaz Beasley and Mary Belk,” the report explained. “Other signs opposed HB2, the so-called 'bathroom bill' that requires people to use the bathroom corresponding to the gender listed on their birth certificate.”

Recording with a hidden camera, a news station producer visited Community Outreach Group and inquired about how much it focuses on opposing tolls. Conversations with staffers revealed that although the group uses anti-toll messaging in certain areas, they consider themselves an “in-house vendor for Planned Parenthood.”

Community Outreach Group is a “Trojan Horse,” according to the leader of anti-toll group Widen I-77. Widen I-77 decried the job postings as “deceitful manipulation of concerns.”

Some Community Outreach Group campaign door hangers WBTV obtained didn't mention tolling at all. A spokeswoman for Community Outreach Group told WBTV, “Canvassers working for this program talk about a variety of issues related to this partnership, including women’s health, education, and tolling.”
