NEW YORK, November 5, 2002 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Demonstrating its ultimate hypocrisy, Planned Parenthood is requiring parental consent for “children under age 18” to participate in the organization’s poster contest. Meanwhile, the organization argues all around the world that children under age 18 should not require parental consent for abortion. Under the “Terms and Conditions” section of the Planned Parenthood website advertising the Roe at 30 Artwork and Poster Contest, condition # 3 states: “Children under age 18 must have a parent or legal guardian’s permission to submit their designs and for us to publish it along with their name.”
Strangely, the organization has subverted legal requirements of parental consent prior to abortions by minors and actively lobbied and argued in courts against such legal protection of children.
