NEW YORK, Jan 5, 2001 (LSN.ca) – On January 1st, Planned Parenthood of New York City (PPNYC) unveiled its new subway campaign, “The Choice Is Now in Your Hand,” announcing the availability of the abortion drug mifepristone at PPNYC centers. Joan Malin, CEO of PPNYC said, “Since we began offering mifepristone services on December 5, we have received more than 100 calls a week asking about this new option.”
