LAKE CLARKE SHORES, Florida, Aug 3 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Glenda Diane Dowis, of Fort Pierce pointed a gun at her pregnant 16-year-old daughter’s belly, drove her to an abortion centre and was arrested after telling staff that if her daughter didn’t abort her baby she would “blow her brains out.” The Palm Beach Post reported yesterday that once the daughter, Brittany Dowis, was alone with clinic staff she wrote on a medical form that her mother was forcing her to abort.
Police found a loaded .38-caliber pistol in a briefcase on the back seat of Dowis’ car and noted that the girl’s mother had scheduled the appointment at the abortuary. The mother faces charges of false imprisonment and domestic abuse and was booked into the Palm Beach County jail Tuesday night without bail.
