WASHINGTON, May 7 (Lifesitenews.com) – A USA TODAY/CNN/Gallup Poll shows 27% of Americans in favour of legal abortion in all circumstances. The true percentage for those who would be against all abortions are unknown since the poll lumped those who would allow for abortion to save the life of the mother in with those who would okay abortion in cases of rape and incest. The poll showed 16%  against all abortions and 55% who would allow legal abortion only in the aforementioned cases.

Over 60% are in favour of banning partial-birth abortion. Meanwhile the “pro-life” label has gained 42% acceptance while those calling themselves “pro-choice” has gone down from 56% in 1996 to 48%.
