LONDON, September 24, 2002 (LSN.ca) – After public revelations of the abortion of the child of pop stars Nicole Appleton and Robbie Williams’, associates of Williams have told the press that Williams also experienced grief over the abortion.  LifeSite reported yesterday that in her new book, Nicole Appleton reveals that her record company pressured her into an abortion and the resulting grief left her suicidal.  The Sun, a UK paper, reports today that Williams was hurt by the abortion as well. “It was the baby he wanted and he felt it could save him from his problems. It was a difficult time for him – he was still doing drink and drugs,” said the friend.  “Robbie thinks about the unborn baby a lot. He always thought it would be a girl called Grace and wrote a song about it on one of his albums. She would be three now.”  See the report in The Sun at:  https://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2002440778,00.html
