ITALY, Sept 28 (LSN) – On Sunday, Pope John Paul II said mass for some 250,000 people in the outskirts of Bologna Italy where he attended a music concert in his honour the night before. In his homily the Pope compared abortion to the totalitarian massacres of regimes such as the Nazis.
“This century has seen, on a planetary scale, grave attacks on man and the truth of his existence…Millions of human lives have been sacrificed this century in the name of totalitarian ideologies and lies…In the name of free choice, called freedom, innocent human beings who are not yet born continue to be suppressed.”
