LISBON, Feb 10 (LSN)—Last Thursday, just one day after the Portuguese Parliament voted to legalize abortion on demand, the ruling Socialist Party agreed to hold a referendum on the new law. The pro-abortion law would be voided if the popular vote went against it in the referendum likely to be held in mid-June.
