December 17, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – During a radio interview about the pro-homosexual “social justice” rosary that Fr. James Martin has been promoting, Fr. Donald Calloway prayed for Martin’s “radical conversion” and that the Jesuit might “repent of the things he has been promoting.”

Fr. Calloway did not mince words when discussing Fr. Martin's promotion of the sacrilegious “Rosary of Sorrows” during the roughly four minute “Terry and Jesse Show” segment.

When asked about his take on the “social justice” rosary which ignores the Life of Christ while focusing prayer on the LGBT agenda, “Mother Earth,” and other “social justice” issues, Calloway was straightforward.

“To be honest with you, brothers, if I told you what I really thought you’d probably have to bleep out most of what I want to say,” began Fr. Calloway.

Fr. Martin “is a nut,” said Calloway. “He’s a loon.”

The priest said he looked into the individuals who are producing the social justice warrior (SJW) rosary and discovered “it’s two ladies who are promoting Buddhism and Islam and Christianity all mixed up together.”

“They ‘don’t know jack’ about theology,” continued Calloway, “they have no idea what they’re talking about.”

The rosary, whose rainbow-beaded fifth mystery directs individuals to pray for LGBT “families” to be accepted by the Church, is “sacrilegious.”

The Catholic Church teaches that homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered and “under no circumstances can they be approved” (CCC 2357).

Not only does the SJW rosary promote issues directly at odds with Catholic teaching, it has been discovered that proceeds from sales of the rosary will go toward funding pro-abortion groups.

Fr. Calloway agreed that this SJW rosary “comes from the pit of hell.”

The rosary was created to help people “meditate on the sacred mysteries of our Lord, to bring us light and freedom,” observed Calloway, and not to meditate on “this nonsense.”

Calloway said that at times like this he wishes he were a bishop, because “I’d be cracking the whip…I’d be censoring that dude [Fr. James Martin].”

“To promote that kind of stuff is an offense against the heart of your own Mother,” observed Calloway, referring to the blessed Virgin Mary. “I mean, how stupid can you be?”

At the end of the interview, Fr. Calloway prayed for the two women behind the creation of the “Rosary of Sorrows” to come to know Jesus Christ.

He then prayed for Fr. James Martin to have “radical conversion” and to “repent of the things he has been promoting.”

“It’s called the ‘Rosary of Sorrows,’” said Calloway. “At least they got that part right because it’s breaking the heart of God.”

Fr. Calloway is a member of the Congregation of Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary who has authored multiple books on the rosary.
