MONTREAL, Jan 9, 2001 (LSN.ca) – Famous Canadian pop star Celine Dion, the fourteenth child in her family, admitted that her mother was convinced not to abort her by a priest. Catholic World News reports today that Dion said her mother asked the parish priest if she could have an abortion. “He told her that she had no right to go against nature,” said Dion. “So I have to admit that in a way, I owe my life to that priest.”
