LEE COUNTY, Florida, May 31 (Lifesitenews.com) – Philip Allan Heim was charged with felony battery on a person over age 65, battery, and aggravated assault Friday after he assaulted two pro-life protesters who were praying quietly across the street from an abortuary. Heim drove his car onto the grass in front of the two elderly men as they sat praying. He advanced his car toward them slowly until he knocked over one of the chairs the pro-lifers were seated on.

Heim got out of his car, shouted at the men and grabbed them by their shirts threateningly.  Undaunted the two elderly gentlemen said they would continue their prayer vigil as they have done three days a week. However they did say they would alert the sheriff as to when they would be there. Incidentally the sheriff in question is Lee County’s outspoken pro-life sheriff, John McDougall – a hero to pro-lifers in North America.
