WASHINGTON, Sept 24 (LSN) – On Tuesday, pro-abortion Senators voted to put off a vote on a bill that would make it a punishable offence to thwart state parental notification laws by taking pregnant minors out of state for abortions. Outraged, Republican Senator Spencer Abraham, who sponsored the bill, said that given the pro-aborts success at stalling the bill, no action on it could take place before the October 9th Senate adjournment. Pro-life Senators needed at least 60 votes in the Senate to address the bill but the vote tallied 54-45.  Douglas Johnson of the National Right to Life Committee said “We are dismayed that 45 senators voted with Clinton to kill legislation to protect young women and girls from harmful manipulation,  often by much older male boyfriends.” Considering the on-going revelations about his personal life,  however, Bill Clinton’s true attitude towards women lately has been a matter of much debate despite what he says in public.
