PRESS RELEASE Nov. 26, 1998 CAMPAIGN LIFE COALITION B.C.  RADICAL GROUP WITH LINKS TO LOCAL PRO-CHOICE RESEARCHER WON’T HELP FBI   One of the most radical pro-choice groups in the United States, Refuse and Resist, won’t assist the FBI in their ongoing investigation into the murder of Dr. Barnett Slepian.  R&R issued a press release on the internet this week vilifying the FBI’s attempt to interview two members of their organization. The two men, Robert Stauber and Michael Gingerich have refused to be interviewed by federal law enforcement officials.  Refuse and Resist is linked to well-known pro-choice researcher Will Offley, of the BC Coalition for Abortion Clinics. Offley has supplied information to R&R and is thanked on a web site for his material.  John Hof of Campaign Life Coalition BC stated: “The investigation of the tragic murder of Barnett Slepian is taking a new twist. From the beginning we have stated that we have every faith in the investigative abilities of the law enforcement agencies involved. How criminal that pro-choice groups refuse to cooperate and provide possible critical information in solving this crime.  Perhaps it is time that law enforcement officials turn their sites on Will Offley of Vancouver,  and question him as to the extent of his relationship with this radical group known as Refuse and Resist.”  For further information call:  John Hof (604) 534-4828
