PRO-HOMOSEXUAL LEGISLATION IN US, UK, AND CANADA
STOWE, Vermont, Feb 10 (LifeSiteNews) – The Canadian government’s plans to introduce sweeping pro- homosexual legislation today or tomorrow comes at the same time similar initiatives are being pushed in Britain and the American state of Vermont. The Telegraph reports that the UK government’s Department for Education has asked the Equal Opportunities Commission to draw up a code of practice for companies on how to treat practicing homosexual employees. The code will demand equal benefits for homosexual couples as compared to married couples and will forbid consideration of sexual orientation in hiring and firing. The move is described as a reaction to pressure from the European Commission.
AP reports that a key committee of the Vermont House voted Wednesday in favor of developing a broad domestic partnership system for homosexual couples instead of broadening marriage statutes to include same-sex partners. The measure follows an order by the state’s Supreme Court demanding that homosexual partnerships be given all the benefits afforded to married couples.
The promotion of homosexuality seen in legislation the world over has been greatly aided by a relentless promotional campaign by the entertainment media. True to form, America’s Independent Film Channel, a pay cable network that reaches 30 million, or roughly one-third, of the nation’s television homes, is set to air four movies depicting homosexual “love stories” for its Valentine’s Day marathon, according to a report in WorldNetDaily.
