March 11, 2015 (LifeSiteNews.com) — Described as “the biggest pro-life campaign Canada has ever seen,” Campaign Life Coalition and the Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform have joined forces to organize Canadians to oppose Justin Trudeau and his Liberal Party's support of “unfettered and tax-payer funded decapitation, dismemberment, and disembowelment of pre-born children in the womb.”
The aim of the #NO2Trudeau campaign is to both show the truth about Canada’s abortion status quo and those who endorse it, and to support those politicians who have the courage to speak out on behalf of the right to life of all Canadians.
“The 2015 federal election presents the pro-life movement with a tremendous opportunity in Canada,” say Campaign Life Coalition’s Alissa Golob and CCBR's Jonathon Van Maren, the organizers of the #NO2Trudeau campaign.
“For the first time ever, we have in Justin Trudeau a leader that we must unify against given that he's unambiguously and vocally pro-abortion, supportive of the so-called ‘right to die,’ and opposes the government’s anti-prostitution legislation which attempts to combat human trafficking to keep women safer,” Golob says.
The campaign points out that Justin Trudeau has declared that there is no choice but “pro-choice” in the Liberal Party of Canada, forcing Members of Parliament in his caucus to vote down any legislation restricting abortion, regardless of their conscience or their beliefs.
“This does not just impact pro-life MPs and members of the Liberal Party, it also impacts the majority of Canadians who feel that abortion should be subject to at least some restrictions. Justin Trudeau is not only an extremist on the abortion issue, he is also forcing the Liberal Party to join him in his extremism.”
Because of this, for the first time, Campaign Life Coalition has informed the pro-life movement and Canadian pro-lifers that Justin Trudeau’s Liberal Party is unsupportable in the upcoming federal election.
“Those who oppose the destruction of human life in the womb cannot, in good conscience, vote for a party that unambiguously supports unfettered and tax-payer funded decapitation, dismemberment, and disembowelment of pre-born children in the womb,” the campaign organizers state.
Jonathon Van Maren and Alissa Golob will begin a speaking tour on March 13 that will travel across the country in a quest to recruit and equip pro-lifers to be part of the campaign.
“This is not just another pro-life talk,” the organizers explain. “We know you're pro-life and we know you want to oppose Justin Trudeau. The question is how? We've got the answer.”
The #No2Trudeau tour begins this Friday in Victoria, BC, and will proceed through 22 locations across Canada to St. John's, Newfoundland.

The element of the #No2Trudeau campaign in support of pro-life politicians will encourage pro-lifers on the ground level to campaign with their local pro-life candidates to ensure their election in the upcoming federal nomination.
Noting that there are 27 pro-life MPs who will not be running in the upcoming elections, the #No2Trudeau campaign says the pro-life movement must ensure that pro-life candidates who are victorious in their nomination races win their seat in the House of Commons.

“Those who speak up for babies in the womb in the House of Commons face constant opposition. They need your help,” campaign organizers emphasize.
The Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform has distributed close to 400,000 postcards since 2012, intended to ensure that the constituents of politicians who support abortion become aware of exactly what that “medical” choice is and entails.
The #No2Trudeau campaign will incorporate the Postcard Project with the goal of distributing a minimum of ONE MILLION pieces of campaign literature exposing Justin Trudeau’s position on abortion.
This will assist in exposing what the reality of abortion is, highlighting the new Liberal policy on this issue, informing voters of many facts that polling shows they are currently not aware of, and basic facts about pre-born human rights.
“This will be the biggest pro-life campaign in Canadian history,” the campaign organizers state. But they stress that, “In order for us to do this, the pro-life movement will need thousands of boots on the ground across the country to participate in the #No2Trudeau campaign in whatever form of activism they feel comfortable with.”
“It will be one of the biggest grassroots campaigns ever launched. You can be a part of it. You can take a stand for pre-born children in the womb in a powerful and historic way.”
