Pro-lifers will counter Planned Parenthood’s 100th anniversary celebrations with protests nationwide
September 28, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) – As the largest abortion chain in the U.S. is poised to mark its 100th year in business next month, the millions of lives lost will not be forgotten as pro-life supporters stand ready to memorialize them in another nationwide day of protest.
Solemn prayer vigils are scheduled for October 15 at Planned Parenthood locations across the nation in conjunction with the 100th anniversary of the abortion behemoth’s founding, the fourth #ProtestPP event since the onset of its baby parts scandal.
Margaret Sanger opener her first birth control clinic in October 1916, which later expanded into the American Birth Control League and was then renamed Planned Parenthood in 1942. Planned Parenthood did its first abortion in 1970 before eventually attaining the standing it has today as the country’s largest supplier of abortion and preeminent backer of abortion on demand.
The abortion giant has also been found to be protecting child predators, convincing minors to evade parental involvement laws, defrauding state governments on Medicaid reimbursements, getting access to communities by concealing its true identity via front companies, and committing myriad acts of medical malpractice up to and including wrongful death.
The 2015 release of undercover videos by the Center for Medical Progress showing Planned Parenthood officials bartering for body parts from children aborted at its facilities was the impetus for #ProtestPP, the vigil continuing to gain momentum.
Primary sponsors Citizens for a Pro-Life Society, Created Equal, and Pro-Life Action League are joined by dozens of other state and national pro-life groups in organizing this latest vigil in the ongoing effort to bring the truth to light about Planned Parenthood.
Local leaders are currently being sought to organize either a daytime Jericho prayer march or evening candlelight vigil at their nearest Planned Parenthood location to counter the 100-year observance.
