BIRMINGHAM, Alabama, Feb 3 (LSN) – Mother Angelica, the founder and head of the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN), experienced an apparently miraculous healing last Thursday. Beset with spine and leg injuries 40 years ago, the Roman Catholic nun has served the pro-life community by sponsoring and promoting the cause of life, with the enormous broadcasting empire she founded against enormous odds. Last week she revealed to her EWTN audience that she had been praying the Rosary with a guest—whom she did not identify—when the guest urged her to try walking without her crutches. She found she was able to walk without crutches and braces for the first time in 40 years.
