NEW YORK, Sept 10 (LSN) – Today Mark DeYoung, Director of the American Life League’s youth division called WhyLife?, condemned the recent UN Population Fund document, State of World Population: 1998, as “an all- out global assault against youth.” Mr. DeYoung notes that the UN “calls for complete ‘reproductive freedom’ for minors, as well as freedom from parental authority.”“It’s horrifying to think that the UN wants to discourage young people from getting married and having families, while encouraging them instead to participate in unhealthy sexual activities,” said DeYoung, “all to curb a ‘population problem’ that doesn’t exist.”
