LIGONIER, Pennsylvania, April 14, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A Pennsylvania man arrested by police for walking by an abortion clinic because he was recognized as a regular pro-life witness has been paid $10,000 by the city of Ligonier.

Fifty-four-year-old Keith Tucci was walking by an abortion clinic in downtown Ligonier in January 2010 when he was arrested by a city police officer attempting to enforce a ban on protests or demonstrations within 15 feet of the clinic entrance, reports the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

Tucci says he was neither carrying a sign nor protesting, but was targeted only because he was a “known protester.” He was later found not guilty of the trespass charge.

Tucci later filed a federal lawsuit over the treatment.
