STAMFORD, April 3, 2003 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Pro-lifers marched on the Connecticut state capitol this week to deliver a message to legislators. They want parental consent legislation for abortion and a stop to same-sex marriage legislation, the Stamford Advocate reports.  Some 200 Catholics (likely more than 200, because the media always under-report numbers at rallies they disagree with) lobbied for legislation requiring parental consent for teenagers seeking abortion, a 24-hour waiting period and a ban on late-term abortion. “I believe this is a fundamental human value, it’s not a Catholic value,” said Msgr. Peter Cullen, a local Catholic leader.  For local coverage:  https://www.stamfordadvocate.com/news/local/state/hc-01173520.apds.m0983.bc-ct-xgr-capr01,0,6318966.story?coll=hc-headlines-local-wire
