OTTAWA, May 17, 2005 (LifeSiteNews.com) – From gay ‘marriage’ to Gomery, the Liberal Government scandal sheet gets longer and longer. Local Ottawa resident Debbie Jodoin has had enough. She and her companions refuse to leave Parliament Hill until Paul Martin resigns and calls an election. “It is time to take a stand for Canada,” Jodoin said.

Jodoin was one of the primary organizers for the March4Marriage that drew over 15,000 people to the Hill in Ottawa as well as a rally that supported Freedom and Democray supporting our allied forces and American friends going into Irag that drew over 8,000 people in 2003.

Joidin began her protest Monday. Those who are disgusted with the Liberal culture of corruption plan to settle into the Hill for as long as it takes, she says.

“Because we don’t believe Paul Martin when he says he will finally allow a non-confidence vote next Thursday, I am telling people we may be here on the Hill for a while,” said Jodoin. “I am also suggesting that people bring lawn chairs, water, food, and sleeping bags.”

Jodoin explained why she can no longer remain silent: “From pushing same-sex marriage to the ongoing Gomery revelations, the Liberal government has no moral authority to run this government. It is time to kick the corrupt Fiberals out and bring back credibility through honesty and morality in our government.”

Joidin concluded, “It still gets cold here at night in Ottawa but I will not leave until Martin resigns and calls an election and I invite all like minded Canadians to come and stand with me.”
