NEW YORK, June 13, 2003 ( – Rabbi Isaac Levy, President of Jews for Morality, has issued a statement sharply condemning today’s homosexual parade and festival in the heart of Jerusalem.  “The homosexual ‘Jerusalem Open House’ organization in Jerusalem, Israel, is conducting a public desecration of the Holy City to demonstrate that homosexuals can ‘come out of the closet’ and do as they please anywhere, anytime, with impunity: If they can do it in Jerusalem, they can do it anywhere.”“The Jerusalem march is part of a coordinated campaign by homosexual activists worldwide to mock and undermine respect for religion and, thereby, advance their immoral Sodomy agenda in every country across the globe.”“To our great shock and sorrow, the extremist idealogues in the Supreme Court of Israel have compelled the unwilling Jerusalem municipality to pay more than $8,000 to the organizers of the parade to help cover their expenses for the event.”“At a time when our brothers in Israel are in mortal danger, at a time when they are in extraordinary need of God’s compassion and protection, this provocation against God in His Holy City represents the height of recklessness and irresponsibility.”“All good people, all over the world, who respect and honor God, must speak out and oppose this vile attempt to undermine the sanctity of the Holy Land.”
