(LifeSiteNews) — U.S. Sen. Rand Paul will be holding a hearing tomorrow, May 13, featuring a whistleblower’s testimony about “COVID coverup.”

“Mark your calendars: Wednesday, May 13 at 10am. The truth is coming,” Paul announced on X.

Yesterday, Paul reposted a clip of Tucker Carlson surmising the potential sinister intentions behind the cover-up of the origin of COVID-19.

“So if you wind up killing a lot of people, which the COVID vax did, and then you refuse to find out where the virus came from, and then you pretend that nothing bad happened, it’s kind of hard not to suspect that maybe you want to hurt me,” Carlson said.

More than 39,000 deaths after the COVID shot have been reported in the U.S. Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, which has traditionally only accounted for about one percent of total vaccine injuries.

Many have pointed out that the hearing will come just days after the statute of limitations for lying to Congress runs out for Dr. Anthony Fauci. Paul himself warned last week that there were just a few days left for the Department of Justice (DOJ) to charge Fauci for his repeated lies to the U.S. Congress concerning funding of “gain-of-function research” at China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Millions died. Trillions were spent. And Fauci walked away with book deals and fawning media coverage instead of handcuffs,” Paul said on X.

Yesterday, May 11, was the legal deadline for filing an indictment against Fauci for denying under oath his role in funding the research that led to the global COVID-19 outbreak and the lockdowns that delivered devastating economic and social consequences to workers, families, healthcare facilities, and churchgoers.

Fauci reportedly secretly funded dangerous “gain-of-function research” – an area of scientific experimentation banned in the United States – at the Wuhan Institute.

In May 2021, Sen. Paul famously confronted Fauci on the government’s support for gain-of-function research. Fauci, who in 2012 championed such research, told Paul that NIAID had “never” done it, but Paul cited a grant that the NIAID awarded to the nonprofit EcoHealth Alliance to study bat coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute. Fauci claimed to Paul that EcoHealth had assured the agency at the time that gain-of-function work would not be done with the money.

Paul submitted a criminal referral to the DOJ in July 2021 against Fauci for lying to Congress.

A former senior adviser to Fauci was recently indicted for the role he played in the cover-up of the origin of the COVID-19 virus.

David Morens, 78, who served as an adviser to Fauci from 2006 to 2022, was charged with conspiracy against the United States; destruction, alteration, or falsification of records in federal investigations; concealment, removal, or mutilation of records; and aiding and abetting, according to the New York Post

“Morens oversaw a now-infamous grant from NIH to the Manhattan-based nonprofit EcoHealth Alliance beginning in 2014 that ended up funneling U.S. taxpayer dollars to the Wuhan Institute of Virology for bat coronavirus research,” the New York Post noted.

Morens is accused of using his private email to conceal exchanges with colleagues in order to maintain control of Fauci’s preferred narrative that the COVID-19 virus originated naturally from a “wet market” near Wuhan, China, rather than from the lab at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

“These allegations represent a profound abuse of trust at a time when the American people needed it most – during the height of a global pandemic,” Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said in a statement.
