Controversy sparked as L.A. archdiocesan magazine hails pro-abortion Gov Jerry Brown

I would add that a vote for so-called immigration reform– where all this is going, of course– is a vote to vastly expand abortion. Why? Because nearly all such naturalized voters will vote as Democrats, grabbing the handouts with which the party bribes no-information voters.

Vote on Quebec bill to allow euthanasia expected Tuesday

Well tribless, you can't make a point by repeating “its a right, its a right”. Who says its a right and with what reason and authority.

I say its not a right because:

a) Everyone is ambivalent about everything almost all the time, especially about being alive. So when people for all sorts of reasons decide life is less worth living compared to the ease of dying, dying can be very appealing. Sometimes people need to be kept from their own foolish tendencies.

b) All the people I know who were kept from killing themselves are now glad to be alive.

c) Suicide in all it's guises is most often selfish. When people kill themselves they leave behind confusion and recriminations

d) Most of those who in pain, despair, frustration, hopelessness and anger appear to be choosing death now, are clinically depressed.

e) Most of those who appear to rationally choose death have major conflicts to resolve and tasks to accomplish before they go, eg. make peace with their maker.

f) Some who choose to die drag others down with them, eg Jonestown. What would you say to a pilot who decided he always expected to die in a crash though there are others on board. A steep dive from 36,000 ft would be a grand finale now that he has been diagnosed with cancer.

e) Whenever someone contributes to another's death they weaken their SSIRAA and are more likely to kill again.

f) Hippocrates was a wise old guy who understood that as soon as you sanction the killing of patients by their physicians, you made people distrust the medical profession and up the complexity and cost of medical care.

g) There is always a death struggle that leaves elevated cateclhollamines in the blood post mortem. Poisoning leaves the highest level, meaning that death by injection is the least dignified way to die.

h) People are very vulnerable when dependent and suffering. It is all too easy for cynical sales-persons

Pro-Life groups: ObamaCare will ‘Make Planned Parenthood a $2B industry’

PP is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation. They are not in it for the money, only for the evil.

Don't buy the insurance. Look into Medi-Share and Samaritan's Purse, both expense-sharing organizations for committed Christians that DON'T pay for evil, yet are recognized as fulfilling the ObamaCare requirement to have coverage.

Gavin McInnes: I was a pro-choice atheist. Then I had kids. Now I’m a God-fearing pro-life Catholic

Do your homework, Aporia.

“No woman should be authorized to stay at home and raise her children. Society should be totally different. Women should not have that choice, precisely because if there is such a choice, too many women will make that one.” –Simone de Beauvoir, “Sex, Society, and the Female Dilemma,” Saturday Review, June 14, 1975.

Gloria Steinem called housewives “dependent creatures who are . . . parasites.” Time Magazine, Aug. 31, 1970.

Space considerations prevent my showing more quotes, but you get my drift.

Feminism ushered in the sexual revolution, whose noxious harvest has been skyrocketing numbers of single mothers living in poverty, millions of unborn children being killed in the womb, an epidemic of STDs, and the rampant objectification of women through the proliferation of pornography. You think that domestic abuse has been curbed by feminism? False – nor has abortion ended child abuse, as feminists claimed it would.

History and a multitude of academic studies prove that the attack on traditional families, even if well-motivated (and it sometimes was not) has harmed women, helped men, and weakened families and our culture. Some legacy.

Scientists say babies remember lullabies played for them in the womb

I have read elsewhere that the enjoyment of music begins at a very early age. Consider this; Johann Sebastian Bach had 23 children and of those, most went on to musical careers. Where did this talent come from? Genetics? Exposure to music at a very early age….Bach came from a very talented and numerous musical family himself. And suddenly we are told that the unborn can remember music played to them whilst they were still in the womb!! What a surprise!

Sinead O’Connor vs. Miley Cyrus, and how to talk to teen girls about modesty

I think Sinead was highly aware that there are people who have been strategically placed around Miley to block influences that would change her mind. If she decided to stop being pimped, A LOT of people would lose A LOT of money. Coming from the same industry, Sinead probably knew that presenting an open letter would probably be the way she would most likely see it.

The gatekeepers and abortion

This article comes at just the right time. It is always a struggle to carry the pro-life message in a society that attacks the messenger rather than deal with the message. As a teacher (in a Catholic school!) I am getting the details together to take some students on the March for Life in January. It is not a smooth process……. When I am overwhelmed (at least 3x/day), I can remind myself that every student who goes with us, comes back changed forever. Then she goes on to share the message of life with others. So it's worth the emotional/physical/social cost.

URGENT! Only hours left to get last 400 Irish signatures needed for ‘One of Us’ petition quota

Yep: this historical pro-life initiative has been absolutely underreported by the main pro-life media or other non-secular mass media. WHY? Even respected pro-life NGO's refused to support it. It is a mystery to me. Yet, despite all, GOD worked tremendously though thousands and thousands of volunteers throughout the European Union. In Romania we had money for ONE POSTER but we are on the first place at online signatures: 131,200. A miracle after 56 years of legal abortion and 23 years of legal contraception and the list of the Death Culture's elements could go on and on.

Italy's “Movimento per la Vita” are the heroes: on the last day they've gathered 23, 000 signatures, making a White Night reaching a total of 603,000 signatures. Monday, we will have some more or less final numbers. Personally I hope “One of Us” will surpass “Right4water”.

During this almost 2 years, so far, battle for life, we made many friendships through the whole EU. In Krakow between 14-17th November, during the First Congress of the European Pro Life Movements, the “One of Us” European Federation will be founded. This Initiative is only the first step on the way to make recognized the right to life from conception for every human being in Europe. You will keep hearing about us.

Belgium leaps off moral cliff: considering legalizing euthanasia for children

If people want something in Belgium, any moral/religious opposition has become unacceptable. Only scientific evidence that something is obviously bad for that person is acceptable. If someone is suffering in a way that he/she thinks his/her life has become meaningless, euthanasia is perceived as an act of love and it becomes discrimination to exclude children from this 'right'.

When morality is only based on emotions and science, there's a continuous decline of civilisation and people become like animals. I still remember a woman in Belgium expressing her opinion in a magazine: “when a dog suffers, they give him an injection, but people should continue to suffer??” When people lose their own dignity, as made into the image of God, and they begin to believe they are just animals, their sense of morality becomes more and more like that of animals.

A similar argument is made regarding homosexuality. Animals do it and are tolerant about it, so people should take example of that. Man made into the image of animals has become the new norm in a world where the only commandment is tolerance.

Elijah’s gift: Member of Parliament grateful for brief life of stillborn son with Trisomy 18

So proud we have higher-up's who still stand for what is right. I also carried a baby, my Vanessa, who had Trisomy 18. We found out at 4 months & left it in God's hands. I got the privilege of carrying her a full 9 months + a week. My two other children, my husband, and I, got to enjoy all of her kicks & talk to her while she was still inside of me the entire time. She was stillborn, but we got to hold & snuggle her small body for hours knowing her soul was already with God & in no pain. I would never change a moment of it. We are very blessed & talk about our sweet baby often, & cannot wait to be with her again in Heaven one day.
