(LifeSiteNews) — On this week’s episode of The Bishop Strickland Show, Bishop Joseph Strickland encourages us to think of God in whatever we do and elaborates on the meaning of Truth.

“Rejecting God doesn’t just leave the world empty, which is devastating, but it opens the door to the father of lies, to Satan, to evil, to active evil,” he says. “Thankfully I’ve never experienced any real evil manifestation, but I think … that sometimes trying to do good thing, trying to reach out to people, trying to share God’s truth and love, you run into all sorts of obstacles and all sorts of ways that it’s as if someone is trying to stop you. And I think we have to acknowledge [that] without getting paranoid or even fearful. But we just need to be aware.”

Jesus Christ conquered evil and death, however, and indeed this is what Holy Week is all about. Bishop Strickland adds that the Jewish religious leaders and the crowds may have thought they were killing Jesus for good, but they didn’t realize He was Truth Incarnate and that Truth “cannot be conquered.”

Later on, His Excellency expounds on the passage of Scripture (John 18:28-40) where Pontius Pilate asks Jesus, “What is Truth?” Listen to this week’s episode by scrolling up to the embedded video and clicking the play button.
