TORONTO, June 27, 2003 ( – Current National Post Editor-in-Chief Matthew Fraser has admitted that heavily sought-after conservative columnist Mark Steyn has left the National Post.  Responding to emails from readers disgruntled by Steyn’s absence, National Post editor Matthew Fraser said, “Mark left the Post on his own accord. He was not fired or dismissed.
