OTTAWA (LifeSiteNews) – CTV News political correspondent Glen McGregor got into a shoving match with supporters of Freedom Convoy hero Tamara Lich as she was released from police custody on Monday.

It is not clear why McGregor found himself in such a heated exchange to the point of having to be regulated by Ottawa Police.

After the scuffle, he appeared on CTV News and provided his opinion on Lich being released from custody, but he failed to mention almost coming to blows with her supporters or to show any video of it.

As LifeSiteNews reported Tuesday, Lich was set free from jail and Superior Court Justice Andrew Goodman declared the previous ruling detaining her as invalid.

Lich was thrown back in jail at the end of June after it was alleged that she broke her bail conditions when an image of her standing with a convoy supporter surfaced.

Lich was photographed standing side-by-side with Tom Marazzo at the George Jonas Freedom Award dinner where she received the George Jonas Award for her pro-freedom advocacy as a major organizer of the Freedom Convoy.
