(LifeSiteNews) — In a lengthy interview that included multiple references to his recently rediscovered faith in Jesus Christ, 60-year-old anti-woke comedian Rob Schneider told Tucker Carlson that praying the Rosary with his wife has had a positive effect on him.
“It was beautiful, and the peace that I felt after that, and the whole next day … [that’s] the power of prayer,” he said.
Actor Rob Schneider, a convert to Catholicism, shares his experience of praying the Rosary for the first time with his wife on the Tucker Carlson show. Tucker recently revealed that he has started using the Hallow Catholic prayer app.

Schneider was on Carlson’s podcast for an extended conversation about politics, COVID-19, spirituality, and a variety of other topics.
The former Saturday Night Live star has earned criticism from mainstream media and entertainment figures in recent years for courageously exposing the power Big Pharma has over U.S. politics.
In July, he called for a boycott of the Olympics for its blasphemous depiction of the Last Supper at its opening ceremonies.
During the conversation, Schneider, who’s mother was Catholic and who’s father was Jewish, revealed that he “strayed” from God as he got older despite being “close to Jesus Christ as a young boy.” At the same time, he said that although he got “lost in the world” with his acting career, he always had Our Lord in the back of his mind.
“I said, ‘God, I know there’s a purpose here. There’s gotta be something,’” he said.
Schneider used the interview as an opportunity to apologize to his estranged daughter Elle King, who he became a father to when he was just twenty-six. King, a singer and actress, has publicly denounced Schneider on multiple occasions in recent months, primarily for his views on politics but also for not being a better father to her in her youth.
Schneider, a convert to Catholicism, looked into the camera and expressed profound forgiveness to King while stating that he wants her to be happy. He told Carlson that the entire saga is clearly an “opportunity” that God has “presented” him with so he can “reflect God’s love.”
“Peace is there for you. When you accept God and have God [in your life], you hand it over to him, you gotta really do it,” he said.
Schneider also revealed that before he flew out to visit Carlson for the interview, he and his wife decided to pray the Rosary while in bed, which is something they have not done before.
“We didn’t, you know, even remember … she didn’t remember exactly how to do it. And I’m a new Catholic,” he admitted. “So we’re literally like going over each bead and doing Hail Marys and then Our Fathers and then what’s this bead for?”
“And I will tell you, it was beautiful … I’m praying for my daughter and I hope that people will pray for her.”
Near the end of their conversation, Schneider told Carlson that he believes there is a “rising evil” occurring and that “we need to arm ourselves with God and arm ourselves with knowledge so we can protect ourselves” from it.
