JERUSALEM, Aug 31 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The abortion drug RU-486 has been legalized by the Israeli government and the chemical execution of unborn babies is already underway. The Jerusalem Post reports today that 10 “legal abortions” using the drug have been performed at Assuta Hospital in Tel Aviv. The quick approval surprised many who believed that the Shas-controlled Health Ministry would oppose it.'
Furthermore, since the rights to RU-486 are owned by the German company Exelgyn it was feared that a controversy over a German company seeking to kill Israeli babies would arise. The Post notes that the Israeli health “ministry went out of its way to find an importer, Ami Lapidot, who would not be deterred by criticism.”
