NEW YORK, Feb 22 (Lifesitenews.com) The abortion pill RU-486 could be on the U.S. market as early as the end of this year according to an announcement by the Danco Group, a pharmaceutical company which received manufacturing rights to the pill from the Population Council. In an interview with Reuters, Heather O’Neill, a spokesperson for the Danco Group, said the company had identified manufacturers willing to produce the drug. “We’re confident that we expect to make it available by the end of this year commercially in the US,” she said.
