January 21, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) – Pro-lifers from around the country will run across the United States, from the Brooklyn Bridge to the Golden Gate Bridge and from Corpus Christi Bay to the Canadian border, spreading a message of life and human dignity.
“The A-Cross America Relay is a powerful 40 day pilgrimage that unites the pro-life movement,” founder Dr. Pat Castle told LifeSiteNews. “We need lots of help from the entire pro-life community to help relay the “Remember The Unborn – Jeremiah 1:5″ jersey message A-Cross America.” He added, “God first, life always, teammates forever – high fives!”
Jeremiah 1:5 says, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born, I set you apart.”
Pro-lifers are encouraged to join the “run,” registering to run or walk 5K “legs” anywhere, any time from February 10 to March 20. The mission is to get Life Runners' “Remember The Unborn – Jeremiah 1:5” shirt out in public to impact hearts and minds for saving lives.
The East and West and North and South American “'arms' superimpose a cross on the map of the U.S.,” Castle said.

All four arms will unite for a finish line celebration on Palm Sunday at Macken Park in Kansas City, MO.
The official route goes by abortion facilities for prayer with 40 Days for Life groups. Participants can run a specific “leg,” or 5K portion of the route, at a designated place and time, or they can run 5K “remotely” in their own neighborhoods, any time during the 40 days of the event.
LifeRunners buy a t-shirt that says, “Remember The Unborn – Jeremiah 1:5,” and they wear it during their run. Also, a minimum $25 fundraising amount goes to benefit crisis pregnancy centers and the LifeRunners sponsor, the Vitae Foundation. Those who register will receive team updates and devotions.
Castle said, “LifeRunners live our pro-life faith out in the world, wearing our 'Remember The Unborn – Jeremiah 1:5' gear as a sacrificial prayer offering, to help our neighbors choose life and heal from the scourge of abortion.”
“Abortion is the crown jewel of Satan,” Castle explained, “so ending abortion will require mighty teamwork from the entire Body of Christ. I'm sure Satan really doesn't like that LIFE Runners has brought a team jersey to the pro-life movement.”
