NEW YORK, Jan 13 (LSN) – Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) has chosen to kick off their celebration of the tragic 25th anniversary of Roe v. Wade—the 1973 US Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion nationwide—with ‘A Week of Faith in Choice’. PPFA hopes religious leaders across the country will support this endeavour and demonstrate the support of “religious” leaders and groups for abortion.  “A Week of Faith in Choice’’ is co-sponsored by the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, a group of faiths which approve of abortion. Other sponsors are renegade groups from mainline religious faiths such as Catholics for a Free Choice, the Women’s League for Conservative Judaism,  and Presbyterians Affirming Reproductive Options. The sacrilegious agenda for the week includes having these “religious” communities “demonstrate their ongoing support for a woman’s right to choose by participating in ceremonies and religious observances that focus on the moral foundation of choice and family planning”. “A Week of Faith in Choice’’ is scheduled for January 16 to 25.
