Since the Roe v Wade United States Supreme Court decision on January 22, 1973, over 50 million human beings have been killed by abortion in the U.S.  Now, according to a 2012 CNN poll, over 62% of Americans identify as pro-life and want abortion criminalized in at least some circumstances.

“The people will continue to stand for the unborn, where women's reproductive rights are respected and protected because everyone, starting at conception until natural death, deserves to live,” said Mary Moran, the event coordinator for the San Diego Walk for Life.

Among others, speakers at the Walk include Walter Hoye, founder and president of Issues 4 Life Foundation, Charmaine Yoest, president of Americans United for Life, and Dran Reese, Director of The Salt and Light Council.

Also speaking at the event will be Dr. Jim Garlow, Senior Pastor of Rancho San Diego’s Skyline Church. Dr Garlow is best known for his leadership in the Proposition 8 campaign.
