(LifeSiteNews) — Satanic Planet, a “band” of the co-founder of The Satanic Temple, released Wednesday a “music” video featuring a woman performing a satanic ritual abortion inside a Hobby Lobby bathroom.
The disturbing video shows a tattooed woman, Martina Rinaldi, walking into a Hobby Lobby store and alternates the footage with snapshots of store items referencing Jesus for dramatic effect. Satanic screams from the band of TST co-founder Lucien Greaves blare in the background.

Once inside the bathroom, Rinaldi performs The Satanic Temple’s abortion “destruction ritual,” which involves reciting tenets of TST as well as “affirmations” before and after the abortion. The video states that the ritual “serves as a protective rite” and that its purpose is “to cast off the guilt when choosing to have an abortion.”
“It serves to empower the patient against those with theocratic religious convictions. The ritual wards off the effects of unjust persecution, which can cause one to stray from the path of scientific reasoning,” The Satanic Temple’s explanation states.
The ritual involves first gazing at one’s reflection in the mirror to “focus on your personhood” before reading the following tenet aloud: “One’s body is inviolable, subject to one’s own will alone.”
After these steps, Rinaldi ingests an abortion pill and recites, according to TST instructions, “Beliefs should conform to one’s best scientific understanding of the world. One should take care never to distort scientific facts to fit one’s beliefs.”
She then pretends to “pass” the embryo while smiling (most women don’t pass their embryonic child until about four to five hours after ingesting their second abortion pill). Religious imagery from Hobby Lobby is immediately, choppily inserted, as if to highlight the ritual’s defiance against Jesus Christ.
Rinaldi then returns to a mirror to recite the final affirmation to be said after the abortion: “By my body, my blood, by my will, it is done,” an apparent mockery of the Mass and Holy Communion.
As she leaves Hobby Lobby, the store’s religious items, including crosses, Scripture verses and a picture that says “Jesus loves me, this I know,” are all shown ablaze in flames.
“Your ability to choose to terminate a pregnancy is consistent with the ideals of liberty and freedom. Be proud of pursuing what you want for your life despite opposition,” the video states.
The video ends with an abhorrent insult of Supreme Court Justice Samuel Altio and is titled “Samuel Alito’s Mom” in opposition to Alito’s role in writing the majority opinion in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision that overturned Roe v. Wade, sending the abortion industry and its supporters into a frenzy.
Zachary King, a former High Wizard of The Church of Satan who used to perform abortions, shared with LifeSiteNews one of the reasons Satanists push so much for the lethal act.
“When I was a high wizard, our CEO would get possessed by Satan himself every month, and write what Satan wanted to do,” said King. “While that’s going on, I’ve been there talking to him, he’s having a conversation with me, and it’s not affecting anything that he’s writing down. And one day Satan said, ‘Do you know what my biggest fear is?’” And I’m blown away by that statement, because I didn’t think Satan had any fears whatsoever.”
“He said my biggest fear is that one day people will realize that the babies in the womb are the greatest prayer warriors in the world, and they’ll stop aborting them,” said King.
Regarding The Satanic Temple, King told LifeSiteNews, “I’ve noticed that they say they’re not anti-Christian and they say that their after school Satan program doesn’t teach about Satan to children – but how can we trust you since Satan was a liar and murderer from the beginning?”
He recommends that Hobby Lobby bring in a priest to bless the place where the abortion ritual was performed, even though its owners are Protestant.
“I think that because abortion is like a curse, if they don’t act, things could get worse. They should have a priest go in and bless the room. I would come in there with Epiphany water and just spray it everywhere,” said King.
While perhaps most of the publicity surrounding The Satanic Temple has focused on its high-profile black masses and its Baphomet statue outside the Arkansas capitol building, one of TST’s central campaigns is its defense of ritual abortions and their freedom from regulations.
Greaves explained in a statement posted with the video that TST is opening abortion “clinics” to further its beloved abortion cause.
“In an effort to preserve reproductive rights in the face of theocratic opposition, Satanic Temple has opened three abortion clinics and is currently working toward a fourth.”
“We named the first of our clinics ‘Sam Alito’s Mom’s Satanic Abortion Clinic.’ Following the opening of the fourth clinic, we are going to sue to establish our religious freedom to ship abortion pharmaceuticals to any state in the U.S. regardless of their restrictions on bodily autonomy. This is our fight, and this is our song about that fight,” Greaves said.
In contradiction to its insistence that it adheres to “scientific reasoning,” TST has claimed that “the question of when life begins is absolutely a religious opinion, and the state has no business proselytizing religious beliefs.”
The Satanic Temple, which was founded in 2013 and recognized as a “church” by the IRS in 2019, began as a political organization aiming to reduce the presence of religion in the public sphere.
TST has sued several states over abortion laws, claiming that they interfere with the group’s “religious” practice, including its abortion ritual, and alleging that they violate “bodily autonomy.”
LifeSiteNews reached out to Hobby Lobby for comment but has not heard back at the time of publishing.
